This news story about young people seeing the value of print comes from right here in our own back yard. Seattle Central Community College was without a print newspaper for 4 years. The break, which ended a 40 year publication history of the colleges independently run “New City Collegian”, was ended last week. Our favorite quote from Seattle Times author Kathrine Long is this gem, “For all the promise of a wired world, it turns out that print still resonates for these college students.”
